Requirements:
¨     Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with two (2) years of bridge/highway construction experience
¨     Be NICET certified as a Transportation Engineering Technician Construction, Level II or higher, with a minimum of two (2) years of bridge/highway construction experience
¨     Have a minimum of two (2) years full time experience, as a construction engineer or inspector on bridge/highway construction, with a State, County, federal or municipal department of transportation; two years of bridge/highway construction, preferably with DDOT.
¨     Demonstrated knowledge of Project Controls systems.

Responsibilities:
Supports the Resident Engineer with the technical and administrative functions of the project, including:
¨     Tracking and managing change orders
¨     Supporting Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules
¨     Field Staff coordination
¨     Maintaining records of all quantities, changes, and payments made and shall continuously reconcile quantities and payments with contract documents
¨     Maintain construction files and logs
¨     Receiving, reviewing, forwarding and tracking status of submittals and change orders
¨     Initiating, preparing, reviewing, tracking and distributing RFIs
¨     Tracking and inspecting material deliveries
¨     Assisting with preparing weekly/monthly owner project status reports
¨     Attending project meetings and recording meeting minutes
¨     Assisting with project close-out
¨     Tracking, maintaining and managing project issues and logsÂ
