Construction Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site operations will drive efficiency and safety across all phases of the project. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools, aligning resources and deadlines effectively.
• Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
• Utilize construction estimating techniques and HeavyBid software to prepare accurate cost projections and budgets.
• Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and updates via construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve design issues promptly using Civil 3D or similar civil engineering tools.
• Administer contracts, change orders, and procurement processes with clarity and precision.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of project activities, safety records, change orders, and progress reports.
• Facilitate effective project meetings with stakeholders to communicate updates, risks, and solutions proactively.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing schedules efficiently while balancing scope changes or unforeseen challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in civil or heavy civil projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of project scheduling techniques and construction estimating processes.
• Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for complex projects.
• Experience managing contracts, change orders, and subcontractor relationships effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites to promote a safe working environment.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred but not mandatory.
